Good price. £5 more with Amazon. But you've got to go and collect yours which may include travel costs, mine gets delivered through the door.

I've also just pre-ordered with Amazon, oddly you can order it first class for no extra charge. And it says it'll be here for September 17th.

Same here. I use Amazon a lot. Bet the owners of HMV and Game hate Amazon!

HMV were recently purchased (from administration, I think) and a classic example of a big organization not moving with the times; they were one half decent on-line ordering website from staying a success. They can hate Amazon all they like, but poor senior management killed them.

Very true. It was pretty obvious online shopping was going to explode and HMV didn't take advantage.

Plus HMV are expensive as ****. Remember the Dynasty Warrior games being £60-70 in there.

Indeed. They and Blockbuster were innovative and successful in their market way back when, and now they can only moan about new competitors in the same market who are after the same thing they were. Stay innovative or you're getting beat. It's fair game.

Exactly. 'Back in the day' I used to rent games from Blockbusters (possibly for PS2) to test them out first unless they were red hot like the Tomb Raider games where I had pre-ordered and queued waiting for the next installment.

Does anyone rent out games now?

I download demos on my PS3, so I guess they've nicked that market.

A load of single player games can be finished in a weekend now, so I'd imagine most developers don't want rentals.
