Yesterday I stepped off a ladder, about 3 feet higher than I thought I was, for some reason. I landed beautifully, but had to roll with it, as I was carrying a power drill, so I protected that from the ground, which wasn't terribly hard. Yeah, I rolled with it all right. Right over a small holly bush. That was slightly painful. :(

If you want to learn how to parkour, I'd advise you watch this video

So this is the sort of time I get home now. How was the England game? It was on five TVs in my vicinity, but I still wasn't able to watch it.

Free-flowing, end-to-end stuff. For ten minutes. Then, dire.

Ukraine's plan to play on the counter was undone somewhat because England couldn't maintain possession long enough to actually get people forward, though Kyle Walker did his damnedest to give them opportunities to score.

If Roy would just listen to me about Walker for once then we wouldn't have to keep dealing with that ****. I've heard Wilshere had a poor game too. I don't think it's right starting him before he actually gets a good run of form for Arsenal. We're putting too much pressure on the lad.

I'm surprised Ukraine went for counter-attacking, as they needed the win more than us and were at home.

Yeah it was crap. The important thing, though, was Rickie was decent in the first half. Not so decent in the second, but can't really be singled out.

They came out pretty aggressive initially, but were mostly playing on the break thereafter.

And yeah, Wilshire was awful. Milner was terrible going forward, as well. No one could complete a pass, so naturally Hodgson brought on subs who cannot complete a pass.

Rickie didn't miss a single chance presented to him.

Not surprising, considering he is terrible.

I did say this morning that I didn't think he'd be getting any chances. I was hoping for him to do well in the link-up play and maybe get another assist, but oh well.

He may have got involved in the link-up play, if there was any link-up play.

He can usually make eight-yard passes while treating the box as if it's shark-infested, though. Today, he just kept poking the ball back to them, as did Wilshire, while Walcott introduced the wrinkle of inexplicably passing the ball to unoccupied sidelines over and over.

Played Walcott in with a lovely ball, and the most dangerous moments were the couple times when Lambert dropped into the hole and looked to play Walcott/Milner in. Weren't many such chances.

In the first half he was easily the best player forward of the halfway line. Sorry to say it, but Walcott was embarrassingly poor. If I bothered to list the things he did glaringly wrong, it would be a long one. Milner was hard working but ineffective. Ashley Young came on and was promptly invisible.

Thankfully the spine of team did ok. Hart caught the ball out of the sky a couple of times, but was generally untroubled apart from a couple of occasions. Cahill and Jagielka were fairly solid, as were Gerard and Lampard. Lambert was fairly isolated towards the end, due to the lack of service to him, and his first touch was poorer in the second half when compared to the first, but he had done an awful lot of chasing and pressing by then. Even so, on 90 minutes he flicked a ball onto Lampard who headed a yard wide.

Yeah, Walcott had a fun habit of ruining potential counterattacks. Never mind.

In other news, the lovely Katie Hopkins was back on This Morning:

I don't even care to consider how valid (or otherwise) her comments are, because she's just such a **** in the way she presents herself and her views.

That was less bad than the one about names, but she still said a lot of stupid ****. And Phillip pretty much summed up the whole thing by suggesting she's just being tight.

    haha, brilliant.

Parkour is lame. It's just aggresive running! It's for people that could never make a skateboard stick to their feet, but still want to be "extreme".
