Sharapova is a "lady" with the way she grunts? I seriously cannot watch womens tennis with the sound. I seriously think she (and others) should be cited for bad sportsmanship as that noise is way beyond anything they need in order to help their game. Grunts is actually not the right word, there isn't a word for what they do. I would also mention how she tried to change her surname for the duration of the tournament to the same name as her sweets (Sugarpova), was not (thankfully) allowed to do so and suddenly found she had some kind of injury meaning she missed the tournament anyway.
Fully agree, she.and others like her spoil Wimbledon for me,there must be some way they can stop it,she should change her name to Screamapova
Serena Williams has all the feminine grace of a north sea oil rig. Did you see see her returning with he right leg way up in the air more or less doing the splits with one leg on the ground? The sooner she and the screamers have gone the better. I too cannot watch women's tennis for longer than two games. Also for me Murray has to win the other two grand slams and then some before he can be ranked alongside the best. Federer 17,Sampras 13, Murray doesn't yet compare.
Eriksen's goal against Malta the other night (starts at 0:52)
More than a bit lucky. Sorry to harp on about luck but hitting the bar and then the goalie's back and into the net is hardly a goal of his doing is it?
I completely agree with you about the Maria grunting!I hate it too.....but I put up with that just to watch her play etc! I haven't liked a tennis player since Steffi Graff was playing!....and she didn't grunt.....and wasn't built like a Mr.Universe!
I take it Harry's excluding himself as a future England coach candidate! http://www.thesportreview.com/tsr/2013/09/harry-redknapp-tottenham-kyle-walker-legal-high/
throw the book at him for WHAT?!?! This is beyond ridiculous now. If he had been out having a shandy would that be all over the news? And i'd almost guarantee there are a number of players from the lower divisions doing this or worse on a weekly basis who don't receive any punishment.
He looks a little bitter with the FA for some reason!, another source described the speech as accusing them of double standards.
Harry's a little like Putin. They both like to do a little stirring now and them in case the world may have forgotten them.....
how can you punish a player for taking a legal drug?,would he want someone punished for taking Nurofen, because they have a headache?
So it"s ok for Walker to do what he did is it ?? As for taking Nurofen for a headache, no player at Spurs is permitted to take anything unless it has been authorised by the club doctor. Forget the fact the media sat on his story for a few months, that is shabby, but what is also shabby is Walkwr's irresponsible behaviour. Redknapp is right, you just can't go around doing things like that these days. And I have no doubt if Jack Willshere had been caught in such a fashion, the majority of this board would have been slaughtering the guy.
I don't see it any worse than people smoking pot, which is illegal, and i bet there's a good few players that do that.He was probably out having a bit of fun with his mates, and mates do silly things when they are together. If he wasn't an International player nothing would have come of it
