U21s play Finland tonight, Redmond will no doubt start, the game is on BT Sports 1 and they're normally well worth a watch

Thought he would, this is a pretty big game for them and he's one of their best players. Thought he outplayed Zaha on friday.
 
yeah, from what i saw of friday's game, zaha had a lot of tricks and step overs but not as good an end product as nathan
 
Pilks is starting against Austria tomorrow, Hoolahan isn't.
 
Under-21s finished 1:1. Redmond played 60 mins. Wisdom sent off for two yellows late on. Finland currently top the group on 8 pts after 4 games; England have only played two and have 4 points, so the draw looks a pretty good result. <ok>
 
Elmander & Olsson both playing for Sweden against Kazahkstan. Currently 0:1 Sweden (Ibrahimovic after 1min) with 15 mins to go. Almost certainly curtains for the RoI. <ok>

This is painful to watch, England cant string more than four passes together
We look poor, Ukraine aren't much better in the creativity stakes

Last season I thought he got sussed out, that overhead kick Ibrahimovic scored against England should of never happened. Hart is overly confident bordering suicidal he very often get's caught out, there is something very Jens Lehman like about him.
 
Hope your GK will be motivated to have a good month now, no reason he can't take that jersey.
 
it might not have been pretty but it was a very, very good result for england. there's a lot to be said for making a team difficult to beat and we are excellent at grinding out results when necessary. the issue comes when we need to win a game and need something a little different, a bit of flair, a spark. but don't underestimate that result - it was hard and well earned.

i understand pilkington had a good game for ireland too.
