There we go, NFL Redzone addressing my point earlier, why 10 games starting at one time, because FOX wants it that way. Rupert Murdoch is behind this!

Holy ****, Scott Hanson is reading my mind, just said he had eye laser surgery. Or the NFL Redzone editors are reading this board...

Matthews has gotten away with murder there, for me. Both lays a late and very aggressive hit on a QB going out of bounds and then (despite Staley initiating the confrontation) takes shots at Staley's head.

49ers go in on the next play, though, so hey ho.

Nice little scrum in San Francisco, shoudl've been two unsportsmanship conducts right there that offset so that Matthews personal foul still stood. But hey, still a TD fr the 49'ers

Kaepernick doesn't look good, second time he ran into a delay of game, first time Harbaugh saved his butt. His running game looks dodgy too, hops around like a headless chicken

Its disappointing because it allowed the 49ers to get the TD, whereas they could only have gone for the FG and led by 3. It makes a big difference as they get close to HT.

Well, with a rulebook as thick as the Lord of the Rings, I can't help but understand the officials sometimes mixing them up a bit.

It's hard to call between SF and GB.

Who would have picked the Titans today though?

Yeah, I can understand. Its just a little disappointing. If it was a Football (soccer) ref I would be going ape **** right now. But these guys usually do a wonderful job.

I'd say check the 'who do you support' thread and get all the names from there, should be plenty in there. Other than that, I don't know anyone who thinks this is not sissy rugby...

I think the replacement ref scandal at the start of last year showed how vital proper refs are.

That what went through my head when it was relayed about the mistake. It still give me nightmares as a packers fan especially after the seahawks incident!!!
