Only in a few months, I'd say half way through the season can a judgement be made. No one knows what the table will look like in 2 months. On paper yes we didn't get the players we needed but in 3 months who knows, just because we didn't spend £15-20 million on players doesn't mean anything right now, same as those that did spend that amount means nothing either.

Especially harsh when palace get an 8/10 rating and cardiff 7/10. So we've done comfortably the worst business of the promoted teams? I don't think so.

Did Palace get anyone worth a mention?

The whole thing about Palace seems to be that they brought in players, the person who wrote it says that they're not PL quality, don't know why they think Chamakh is good, possibly for them, that's the only thing I can think of.

http://squHe obviously hasn't seen Daawka.com/news/2013/09/07/hull-transfer-review-the-tigers-add-bite-to-their-midfield-but-look-toothless-upfront/2013090720369

Grade 5/10

Huddlestone and Livermore, both of which have England caps, were excellent acquisitions to the Hull City midfield and Allan McGregor is a good goalkeeper.

However the rest of the summer signings have either not played at this level before or still have much to prove in the top division.

He obviously hasn't seen Davies play the last three games...or Figueroa for that matter. Would take our signings over Palaces any day...and they've lost Zaha.

Palace and Cardiff have largely bought players who have absolutely zero experience of the Premier League. We on the other hand have bought 90% Premier league quality.

And how anyone can regard buying a young lad with only one season in the championship under his belt for £6m as good business, is beyond me!

Gedo made his loan move permanent? When was that then?!

Seems to be typical guess work article but as we all said last year, let the media and everyone think want they like, we proved them all wrong

Just seems like another ignorant piece.

Not trying to knock Palace per se, or just because they get a decent mark, but I wouldn't back their current squad to win promotion from the Championship nevermind rate their business as two notches below 100%
