Hi Cove, I hope he's not too badly injured. I still can't believe that return he made in the SB. 11 seconds was it? Wearing full kit to cover that distance in that time was pretty remarkable.

She looks pissed off. A bit too stringy for me.

His injury was hilarious. Never like to see a guy hurt but of all the ways you can get injured, that was one of the best.

It's somewhat disappointing for Ravens, because while he's obviously a brilliant returner, he's their #2 receiver. He's absolute dogshit at WR, but he's still the second best they've got.

Missing out on a TD because you're too cocky to hold on to the football till you reach the endzone <doh>

I feel bad for the guy, he's young and got overexcited. Still very funny.

Those sort of injuries must really hurt. He's looking up and is totally unaware of what's about to plough through him. Sometimes you can see it coming and your body naturally reacts and softens the blow.

I got knocked off my bike by a car once and winded to the point where I couldn't breathe. It was very frightening.

I must have looked like a fish flopping about (that one's for you, Dan)

Hey, Pompeymeowth, I see Freeman has been stripped of captaincy. Looks like they're running out of patience with him.

Seems a strange thing to do just before the first game of the season.

I think you could be right about the patience, but they should have timed this way better.

I do feel sorry for the two who collided. Especially as the one who actually ran into the catcher is a new player. It cannot be easy to make that sort of error, but I did howl with laughter when i saw it. I just hope there are no long term injuries.

Ha ha! Very brave to keep going, he must have known he'd get smacked.

Cincinatti Bearcats (college team) QB Munchie Legaux carted off with a serious knee injury in a game against Illinois. Warning - not for those of a nervous disposition.

Poor guy, it looks like he was in agony.

I started watching NFL on TV, roundabout the same time as Joe Theismann's dreadful injury and I still can't forget that horrible moment.

I always think of Lawrence Taylor's reaction when I think of that injury. Could tell how bad it was if LT was urgently calling on medical help.

We've got two big games on Sky tonight. A good divisional match-up Saints host the Falcons and a real treat, Packers @ 49ers after that.
