Stan Wawrinka, the conqueror of Andy Murray in the last round, is a double break against Djokovic in the US open semis. 4-1 in the first set.

Anyhow, I went to Farnborough v Dover, and I have to say, Dover play in the brightest most glaring shade of pink you've ever seen. I'll have to upload a picture. The game itself was a bit meh, two teams playing quite a low standard of football (Portsmouth Ladies play to a much better standard, not kidding) but Farnborough won so can't complain.

And at the end of the game, they were giving away Paddy Power umbrellas so I now have a nice new green umbrella. Quite a decent one too as it has quite a large diameter, although it doesn't fold up like my current one.

They are announcing the new sport as well, between baseball/softball, squash, and wrestling. 'mon squash.

Squash would be great. Baseball could be interesting, though I really don't get the rules, but then neither did I with American football at first and now I very much like it. Isn't there already wrestling? If it's just another form, then it's a resounding NOOooooooooooo from me.

How can you not get the rules of baseball? They're so simple.

Anyone watching Strictly Come Dancing? I'm going for Ben Cohen or Rachel Riley. Maybe Susanna Reid.<smooch>

Well they dropped wrestling, so either they should pick it up again, or it shouldn't even be in the running. About 6 countries play baseball to a decent level and I thought softball was just another easier version of it. Squash hasn't been an Olympic sport because it wasn't a spectacle, although it was good enough for the Commonwealth games, so I don't see the problem. Nowadays, everyone can see a game and I believe it is quite watchable [can you tell I don't follow it?]. Plus, the whole world plays squash, and GB are pretty good at it, aswell, so I hear. So, that's settled then. No doubt, Baseball it is.
