:) You will not be disappointed (but if you are, please don't send a squad of goons after me to get your money back).

Cannot separate these films. Best comedy film trilogy ever IMO. Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, take a bow.

Also, in Australia, Tony Abbott has been elected as the new PM. He is the leader of the Liberal party, sort of the Tory equivalent. Undoubtedly had the support of Murdoch.

Turns out that anti-scientific nonsense and pro-growth bromides are comforting no matter where you are.

Seems that way. To be fair, the Labor Party were in turmoil with many internal problems. Gillard was ousted as leader just 2 months ago, so you can see why people wouldn't want to back Rudd. This Abbott guy though does seem like a bit of a plank despite going to Oxford. Certainly seems to be in the same boat as Gideon when it comes to Economics. Clueless.

I see the EDL are marching in Tower Hamlets... chanting "Eng-er-land"... bless.

There's a really big anti-EDL turnout though. I particularly like these two.

Tower Hamlets? They may actually get killed there.

Madrid, Istanbul and Tokyo making their final presentations for the 2020 Olympics.

Japan are playing on being a culture hub and... having never had an athlete fail a drugs test.

    Ouch. Istanbul felt that one.

From what I've seen, Istanbul focused on highlighting how cheap the Olympics would be for them to host.

Madrid would be a wonderfully silly choice, given that they do not so much have the money to build the necessary facilities. Thus, that will be the result.

This is actually a really good bid presentation. They're stressing the huge financial support they have in Tokyo.

21 major corporate sponsors already signed up.

So in F1 qualifying this afternoon, word is going around that Fernando Alonso had a go at his Ferrari team over the team radio... “You are stupid. You are all stupid. You ruined my qualifying.”
