I don't know if anyone still watches Futurama, but it ended (probably/possibly) for good last night. I know they were kind of running low on ideas but the final episode (and a few from the last series) were some of the best they've done. I'm really hoping Netflix or someone steps up to save the show, but if not, they picked a great way to go out.

Time to catch up on that, then. I bet it will come back again in some form.

You really should. Notable episodes are the absolute finale and Game of Tones (sadly not a GoT parody), which had a dodgy storyline but amazing ending. Two of the best episodes they've put out. It seems like people are expecting Netflix to "Arrested Development" it, which would make sense cause Futurama has such a huge online fanbase.

Well I certainly wouldn't want anyone to be in any doubt, and I do remember this fact because the car was in superb condition throughout. :)

Let's hope Netflix don't step up to save the show. Not after they stepped up to "save" Arrested Development. Never before have I seen the quality of a show drop off so dramatically.

The Netflix series of AD was pretty good given the constraints they were working in...filming a proper series was impossible given that they couldn't get the actors together, and the route worked, if somewhat unevenly.

I haven't watched the latest season of Futurama (probably will now), but I hope that it's now done. The first four seasons were absolutely fantastic, but the fifth and sixth weren't quite the same.

Press Association Sport reports that striker Carlton Cole has missed out on sealing a return to West Ham after failing to prove his fitness. Oh dear!

I haven't read it all in detail, and although it looks disgusting at first glance, I'd ask if the person has been suspended on full pay. Consider their procedure. If there procedures say that any person going on the track must be suspended pending investigation, then that's what they must do. If they break their own procedures, then it will bite them in the bum the next time they need to do something. Let me give you an example. My friend works for a police department that involves him using and carrying a gun. When he is called to a "situation" he and his team no that anytime they fire the gun at someone, then they are suspended while an investigation checks everything involved with the shooting was carried out correctly. This is standard procedure and put in place to protect the public, the staff and the company (police in his example). The train company may just be following correct, standard procedure and have to do this or they leave themselves wide open to claims.

Yes, on face value it looks bad, but it might not be. The key is the findings of the investigation and I hope they use common sense.

Cheryl Cole reportedly sang through the pain of the 55 hour butt tattoo. That's right, girl, make the tattooist suffer as well.

Yeah FLT is right, at first glance you think they could use some common sense etc but if they have a procedure they need to stick to it. If everything checks out and they're found to be innocent then they'll be taken off suspension pretty quickly i'm sure.
