Our board and manager have just signed one of the best creative midfield players in the world, so how does that show a lack of initiative ? Can you also explain how our fans show a lack of initiative ?
What an utter lack of initiative from Wenger. Geez Kyle, for someone who prides themselves in being a 'realist', you like to depart from reality when it suits you eh?
Even by his standards, Kyle has gone very bleak in recent weeks. Cheer up man, we have signed one of the best players in the world.
This is a pretty pathetic thread, which I hesitated to weigh in till now. This is actually a classic HIAG thread, if you just replace some names (like Whinger) and adjectives here and there. HIAG however has had that persona for years which makes his threads not look as bitter as this one here. While I'm very happy with Ozil, and Wenger was probably instrumental in it, the opportunity that opened up was completely out of our hands and unexpected, and we should consider ourselves VERY FORTUNATE that things transpired the way they did so that we had a chance to sign him. Whereas all the business Levy has done he was always in the front seat, and in control of every move. I'm sorry but if you tone down the "external factors" in the comparison and see how our guys did in the transfer window compared to Levy, it isn't a pretty picture at all especially considering they are a smaller club. Frankly they're not fit to lace Levy's boots. It's hard to write this as an Arsenal fan but the way they've handled the interest in Modric and Bale throughout the years, getting to use them for a few more years at their peak despite very attractive offers, before they finally milk RM dry when they can no longer hold on is unmatched IMO.
I imagine Arsenal87 is a schizophrenic when it comes to football forums (No idea what he is like in the real world) but the problem is personalities are either Toledo or Kyle. He will bitch constantly then suddenly change his tune for a few days when something happens ala Bayern or Ozil. I just have visions of him sitting typing on his keyboard with a mini Kyle on one shoulder and a mini Toledo on the other.
That really has to be one of the best posts I've ever seen on this forum. Has anyone been watching Family Tree on BBC 2 If you have think of monkey
Levy tried to block our move for Ozil, what a Tosser http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...attempt-to-block-Mesut-Ozil-s-move-to-Arsenal
I like how Levy tried his best to delay and delay the Bale transfer in order to clearly stop us from getting some Madrid players ahead of the NLD. In the end we still beat them, and still managed to sign Ozil.
No, he's clearly shown he's intelligent by having the nous to try and block the strengthening of a rival. We actively strenghten rivals, Spurs have more sense.
