Is any one else just a tiny bit disappointed that there aren't any new signings today ? Although we've spent a fair bit, and pretty well I'd add, I had hoped for just one extra surprise tonight ! I think it's always best to carry out your business now rather than in Jan.
"There's a big crowd of West Brom fans flooding in, waiting to find out if they've managed to sign Victor Anichebe" That's probably my favourite quote of the evening on SSN so far, made me chuckle that did for some reason
Not really, as exciting as it is to land new players, we've gone about it the right way. Some real talent in, early in the transfer window to give everyone maximum time to get on board with the plan. No last minute panic buys and nice early night for CH and the board. Overall it has to be one of the best transfer windows we've ever had.
Agree with this. I can remember many a window waiting in vain for something to happen. This season it already has, and how!
Fellaini to Man Utd confirmed. So that's minimum 3 games for us against him this season. Could have been worse, might have been Suarez getting multiple bites of us this season (no pun intended).
I think CH and the board have made some excellent signings early on in the window and there was no need to 'panic buy' last night like last year. It would have been good to have had some cover for EB until he's recovered, but we have a much stronger team than last year and all the teams seem to havde strengthened wisely, iincluding the newly promoted teams with some excellent deals going through on the last day. I think I would rather face Fellaini 3 times a year, than Everton with Lukaku (sp) and Barry on loan twice a year. I was talking to a ManUre fan the other day and he was quite underwhelmed by Moyes' transfer dealings and they missed out on one of their top targets!!!
A very successful Transfer window all round. Squad looks completely revitalised. Any extras can wait till Jan
Another classic BBC "let's ridicule Arsenal" moment right at the end of the programme on 5Live last night. They read out a tweet from a still disgruntled Arsenal fan complaining that they needed to sign other players including a goal keeper and defensive midfielder, totally ignoring the fact that they had announced the arrival of a keeper earlier in the day, and that Flamini signed days ago and came on against Spurs on Sunday! The BBC's coverage of football is a disgrace.
WBA did improve their front line in the end Anichebe from everton and sesseingnon were purchased Suprised David fox didn't go anywhere for us, guess there is still the loan window to come
I know I've mentioned the Facebook comment section before but it's a laugh on there today. It's like we've lost messi.
Give us a summary of the main gripes Beef... I'm struggling to work out how a Norwich fan could be down about this transfer window.
Basically saying "typical Hootun" didn't give him a chance. Shows a complete lack of knowledge of this player.
