I've never known so much optimism....

  • We try to play proper football now and will get better with training time. (love this positive)
  • Fletch is back and in amongst the goals already.
  • Celustka is looking like he's solved our right back problem
  • Giacc looks a class act who'll adapt quickly thanks to PDC's attention to detail.
  • Jozy looks unplayable with the ball in to his feet.
  • Jack is actually looking like a good lb, improvement getting forward is staggering.
  • We look really sharp late on in terms of fitness, if not for the sending off I think we would have taken them because their defence was spent.
  • We've just brought in a midfielder with real attacking threat
  • We've just nabbed a 10 million striker who only dropped out of favor due to injury. Not a bad 3rd striker.
  • Still over 4 hour of the transfer window remaining.

Bri, I agree with every point bar the last, I don't think we will get anymore in after the two Italians.

I am the eternal optimist when it comes to Sunderland and after the Fulham game I honestly thought we looked top eight at a canter, I still think we will do well, but I am worried about the Southampton and Palace performances. I put them down to the centre pairing in midfield, Gardner/Larsson and Vaughan/Larsson are just not good enough at this level.

I'm not a doom monger LOL just telling it like it is. watch us struggle as **** pal.

Anyway I'm off out got stuff to do. enjoy the window lads because nothing will happen.

Serious question, why do pessimists always say they're 'telling it like it is' when it's nothing more than their opinion?

Why can't the optimists be telling it like it is?

That's one for my note book Smug, I'm looking forward to my next Wit and Repartee class now

Lot gonna be on Ki's shoulders. I'd like to see Colback back in midfield as he can pass a ball beautifully but don't have the depth.

I can't believe we lost the Fulham game, watched it at the SOL, then watched the full recorded match again, I can see the lack of quality in the final third but I honestly thought that was because the team had not played together, then I watched the last three games and I was devastated, we just didn't look like a team. Against MK Dons, Cabral looked awful and I've already said what I think about Gardner and Vaughan (I happen to like Larsson as a wide man).

I like Colback in the middle of the park, he does play a bit square but he's never had much movement up front to pick players out.

I'm going to tell it like it is - IMO we're ****ed at the moment.

Sessegnon sold to a rival and Lukaku in their side they'll be a quality team going forward. Sessegnon will revel in a club where the fans and manager believe in him (I always have believed in him) just wish that others had.

I think Paolo should have kept his mouth shut re O'Shea - players bollockings should be kept in house

Ozil hasn't signed for Arsenal yet - should we try an 11th hour bid :)

As I say - I'm just telling it like it is IMO!!!! (Seriously this is just my opinion and I don't care who agrees with it its an opinion I'm well entitled to have = and one I hope is proven very wrong)

The sad thing about Ki is, I'm relying on the fact of how upset the sheepshaggers are, that he is any good.

Wasn't a player I had noticed or had stood out previously.

My mate is a Celtic season ticket holder, he reckons he was outstanding up there. I know it's a different league but it sounds promising.

The way people were going on about Cabral being missing the other day, quite frankly amazed me, I started to doubt I had watched the MK game. :p

PS.
You're wrong about Larsson. <nahnah>
In the pub earlier when the rumour that he was on his way popped up there was a huge cheer. :)

Exactly. it's just your opinion ...... nothing more or less and not necessarily how 'it is'.

Doesn't mean I was wrong, it just means that some people in a pub don't agree with me, fortunately, half a dozen club managers and the manager of Sweden do agree with me.
