Spanish radio station Cadena Cope is claiming that Manchester United have seen a bid of €40m for Sami Khedira rejected by Real Madrid, making the Germany international approximately the 612th La Liga midfielder that United have failed to sign this summer.

With Ozil coming in, Cazorla is almost certainly going to be playing higher up on the left. Also, not out of the question for Ozil to play on the right, if something happened to Walcott. Window isn't over though, so still time for a striker. Despite the injury to Podolski, I still don't think we need to replace him. After all, what decent player is going to come in, with Podolski and Cazorla ahead of him. Podolski isn't going to be out forever.
Teams like Chelsea piss you off. They hoard players and just stick them on the bench to rot. Players like Ba, Mata etc can play first team footy in loads of teams but big money teams just keep them on the bench.
