Immigrants are OK if they're trained professionals in a specific field (anything from Bricklaying to Medicine for all I care), as they actually offer something to our society. When it's greasy little Muslim-fundies who want to stand in the street and hurl abuse about the rise of Islam and the impending introduction of Sharia Law in the UK, clearly people are going to get pissed off. You have no idea...Most of the young Muslims that protest in the streets are 2nd generation or more, and are pissed off by the way they're treated in this country.
Tody, I usually agree with a lot of what you say even though in the eyes of some that makes me gay but I have to disagree with the 2nd part of your statement. A lot of those protesters are doing so because of the propoganda they are fed in certain mosques and on the internet and by their peers. It has nothing to do with the way they are treated in this country. It has everything to do with religious hatred being thrust upon them by people with a vested interest in continuing what is in their eyes a holy war.
The fact they are pissed off often leads to them being influenced by people who have those views. They're not only going to protests, marches,... because they're angry, they have been influenced by outside sources. But the motivation for them to seek out websites and other jihadist propaganda is their anger, from my point of view.

Non-Muslim skangers tend to form gangs, or hop on people, Muslim skangers tend to go in for Jihad. Both symptoms of the same problem; being treated like **** by society. Societal violence is a crock. Everyone has an axe to grind, but few are stupid enough to vent their feelings with violence. To say that it's ok to go bananas because we feel let down by the life we have, is a real cop out. What next? Disgruntled disabled anarchists?
