Rumours that we have made another big money bid for another player. No idea how big but bigger than our transfer record (not including the ozil bid).

I agree, i wasn't just talking about Ozil but the fact we're now buying these top players that would point us to being title contenders.

It's a start, it send out a strong message and who knows what impact having a playing with the quality of Ozil can have on others joining.
I think this transfer (assuming it happens) is on a par with a Bergkamp or Henry I really do...

Yes definately up there with the calibre of signings of Bergy, Henry, Overmars etc. It shows we have ambition.

Yeah i saw that. If we are looking to bring in another £20m+ player i am very excited to see who it will be! Cardozo, Pastore, Suarez, Rooney, Di Maria, Benzema, Mata etc etc... lots of players of that value that we have been linked to today!

Actually as signings go only Bergkamp is comparable. We are buying an established world class player - Henry and Overmars became WC at Arsenal. I would go to say this is bigger than Bergkamp as he was in a lull at Inter and stagnating. Where as it can be argued that Ozil is at the top of his game. Whether he will have the same effect as the players mentioned is up in the air. But as transfers go this is the biggest Arsenal have ever done (not only in terms of Money)

And also it'll bring back the attacking Arsenal sides of old. Looking forward to seeing him lead our creative spark with Cazorla and Wilshere. We'll have one of the most exciting midfields in Europe again.
