Rumour on twitter that Reading are about to sign Becchio appears to be picking up pace. If (and that's a big if) it's true, we surely won't be going into the remaining 35 games with just three strikers?
This: via: http://www.pinkun.com/home/football_transfer_deadline_day_2013_live_coverage_2_7556 no comment from me, don't know anything about him!
He's on fire at the moment, scored 6 in 4 games so far. Can't see it happening. We would struggle to keep 3 strikers happy. That said, would live it.
not technically norwich news, but dani pacheco has finally left liverpool permanently - to join spanish second division side a.d.alcorcón
Unless Elmander and RvW will regularly start together the way we lined up against Southampton, and Becchio leaves, I can't see a striker coming in.
You couldn't invent this, but the BBC can actually publish it: "BBC Sport's Saj Chowdhury: "I just bumped into former Manchester United and England midfielder Owen Hargreaves in Manchester. I asked him whether he had been following the latest developments on transfer deadline day, to which he responded, "not a chance". "I then informed the former Bayern Munich player that Arsenal had agreed a £42.4m deal with Real Madrid for Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil. His response to that? "Really? They don't even need him." Do these guys ever think about what they publish and what idiots they make themselves look? If the Ozil transfer goes through, we should try and get Rosicky on loan. Not a chance I know, but how fabulous it would be!
seriously, ozil is a superb playmaker. i think his price is too big but it is the end of the window and when you compare united going for herrera, who is a good player but not in the same class as ozil, it does make you wonder about moyes ability in the market. in my opinion ozil is a £30m player - herrera is a £15m player, who is getting the better deal? arsenal, without any doubt.
West Brom confirm signing of goalkeeper Lee Camp from Norwich: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11709/8903184/? Really??
Kei Kamara reportedly joining Middlesborough I imagine he'll go and score against us in a couple of weeks now (apologies if this has already been posted somewhere)
well, he played two games, did well at sunderland and was doing well at wigan until he let a late shot through his hands. he's a good championship keeper and a good back up premier league keeper. i assume that is all he'll be at west brom, being number two behind myhill while foster is out
yes, i heard this earlier. i think he could potentially do extremely well in the championship. he was one of those players who was on the cusp of being good enough last season but he is just a little bit too raw. had he been 21 rather than 29 i think we'd have signed him up
