I'd really love us to sign an attacking midfielder today Boss. As someone wrote on the BBC website we are like kids at Christmas who have had all our presents early and now it is Christmas Day we have nothing to open.
Not going to happen, is it LOL but in all honesty we have signed far too many players, the only way I would personally be happy to see a signing, is if we signed someone like VDV or Sneijder, not someone with potential who we can develop for Real Madrid, but some proved experience, someone we can give the ball to in a big game and you know he won't buckle under the pressure.
No I don't think we will today unfortunately. The last couple have days have been quite a reality check.
1) We lose the NLD
2) Sell our best player
3) Our biggest rivals buy the world class attacking player that we badly need
Still no point getting too down about it, I still fancy us to be challenging the top 4 this season. Will be interesting to see what AVB does going forward to bring more creativity into our team. At the moment we resemble a higher quality Stoke!

VDV used to score some great free kicks, as did SIggy, and Bale used to score great free kicks when he was 17, something happens when they join us, takes them years to finally realise they can actually take a free kick.
Although I want to jump on the Eriksen bandwagon started by you and SOS so I hope you're both right about this player.
Yes Roo and SoS you will both be held to account if Eriksen fails to shut Boss up.
