I'm not trying to be funny, but how many people can take time off work on a Monday morning to afternoon to go to the unveiling of a footballer?
No wonder the Spanish economy's ****ed.

The Ince thing would make sense if Lennon's off, in my opinion. He plays in off the left when I've seen him, so we'd have him and Chadli for that role, Townsend and Lamela on the right and Sigurdsson... er, somewhere.
 
Just worked out the ins and outs and fees and we are acutally £5.7m up so far in this transfer window!
So to say we are buying our way into the top 4 is b*llocks. I bet we have the lowest net spend out of any team in the premiership this window.

That is a shame although I don't think it's an area we need to throw loads of money at. Rose is decent and it's not an area of our team that we are really struggling with. Creating bloody chances for our strikers is the area that needs most imporvement although hopefully Lamela and Eriksen will be able to do that in time.

let's wait until the end of the day before we say anything. Transfer deadline day is Levy's day.

Talking of Levy, he's been Perez'd.

I don't think we will sign anyone today Roo. I can see us ending up making money out of this window. I won't have a problem with this if we finally get on with the new stadium. Do you know the latest on this?

There's literally nothing going on in terms of names for us, other than Hulk and Ince, which i don't believe either will happen.

As good as our business has been in this window (and I'm not complaining), it'll be a shame if we don't do something about the LB situation. We've known for ages that benny wasn't part of future plans and we don't have another coming in to be back up for rose, or first choice over rose.

it's also gutting that we're paying Adebayor the money we're paying him when we could get someone very good in for what we're paying him each week. (presuming he doesn't go that is. which looks unlikely now)

but at a £30m purchase, it's also pointless. too much money in a position we're by no means desperate for.
 
I'll be really disappointed if the Coentrao deal doesn't go through.

I thought Rose was horribly and repeatedly exposed yesterday, and we can't afford to let that happen again.
He's really not as good as he thinks he is.
And with AVB - for reasons which escape me - having decided that Benny is surplus to requirements,
the left-back position is the one we need to deal with most urgently.
If not by transfer, then maybe we should give Fryers a run in the team??
He looked good the other night.
Otherwise we're going to end up witrh Kaboul or Vertonghen filling in on the left -
and right now they're probably the best centre back pairing we have!
 
Guillem Ballbag has said that spursare Mata's likely destination if he were to leave chelsea.

I'm so pissed off I'm seeing Mata's name today. It's never going to happen, but ****ing hell... I'd cream my pants if it did.

Mata is EXACTLY the player we need right now. Crying out for his creativity. If Chelsea are going to discard his obvious talent, let him come to Spurs!
 
Don't get me excited by mata Roo! It is never going to happen. Shame though as even if we offered £40 million and signed him we would have only spent £35 million net this window
