Exactly 30% West Ham have a 30% chance of pulling off a "big surprise signing", according to co-owner David Sullivan's lad. Interesting percentage. For comparison, there's a 35% chance of me having a bag of dry roasted peanuts with my first pint of ale tonight (60% pork scratchings, 5% Scampi Fries).
I have always liked Ozil, would love to see him in the prem but not in a goon shirt. Hopefully moron-ho has seen the news he is having a medical and steal him at 10:59.....
Ozil's a very good player but they already have a number of attacking midfielders. Cazorla's not nearly as effective when he's out wide.
I am not that bothered they have got Ozil. Don't get me worng he is a great player but they need more centre backs. If Mertesacker or Koscielny gets injured they are in trouble. I also think over the course of the season and with a really tough champions league group they aren;t going to be able to rotate the first team that much. I reckon we can almost put out a completley different team in the Europa and the Premiership and still be competitive in both.
Great signing. I think Wenger will go for a 4-2-2-2. If not it means less pressure on Cazorla so he can be conditioned well. Much better player when only playing once a week.
apparently PSG's bid for Ozil was rejected. I can't believe Ozil is interested in a move to Arsenal. I'm praying that another club will make a last ditch attempt. Where's chelsea when you need them? I wonder what united are up to? they need to do business now.
Mesut Ozil: Arsenal agree a £42.4m deal with Real Madrid http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23929339
IMO, they are comfort signings from Moyes. He's the man united boss now, not Everton, and needs to sign world class players. With the business going on around them, they need to sign better than that if they want to be champions again, IMO.
Even so district it seems strange that Chelsea may load players to Liverpool and Arsenal. I didn't mean you were a c*nt by the way just Mourinho and Abramovich!
Said on the transfer thread that Ãzil will want to move on once RM signed Bale. Fantastic player wanting 1st team footy in a WC year, understandable that he'll also want CL, think that and the massive wages he'll be on would have been against us. Would have loved him at the Lane and would be a great signing for Arsenal (unfortunately).
After all the intial excitement, even after spending 110 milion (i say spend as its been pointed out net spend is lowest in the league)..but its clear we're still way behind the real top clubs, and its even more important AVB gets the best out of our new players, yet in all honesty I believe hes the wrong man to be in charge of this new squad. Lamela & Eriksen (going by their rep and what has been said) could end up being world class, yet our problem is while these players develop, it gets harder and harder to get where we want to be. Anyhow I'm sure Chadli will turn out to be the new Bale (insert sarcasm), or is it Ronaldo, judging by the sheer arrogance of the lad with his fancy tricks...LOL
It's okay CJ I know what you meant. Moses to Liverpool makes sense. He's still playing at a high level and if we move him on at the end of the season we can still recoup what we paid for him. Ba to Arsenal would surprise me unless were bringing in another striker, he'd suit Arsenal's style of play to a tee. There's no way in a million years Mourinho would start the season with just Lukaku and Torres with Ba going out. Maybe Jackson Martinez will come in.
