Because we're traditionally a lower division team and yet are playing in the PL, whereas you are supposed to be this European giant who win everything. Or you were a few years ago. The only way you'll ever get into Europe is if you leave the PL and join the Gibraltar 1st Division. Or they bring back the Intertoto cup.

We've done exactly what we set out to do, but what are you doing? Are you accomplishing what you thought you would? Or are you, much in the same vein as Leeds fans, living on a past that you weren't old enough to experience?

exactly so shut up <ok> <ok>

In that time your big rivals. Man United have won...

Champions league twice
League title 13 times
FA Cup 4 times
League cup 4 times
European cup winners cup once
Super cup once
Intercontinental cup once
World club champions once
Charity shield 11 times

That must sting a bit.

..And?

We looked a well drilled team today who more than matched one of the best teams in Europe for most of the game. Our Achilles heal remains putting our chances away which you really need to be doing at this level. I think Bruce knows we need reinforcements up front and the fact that Prozzy and Fryatt didn't make the bench suggests we could be moving them on and bringing more established replacements in. With one or two decent strikers with the team currently playing as it is we'd be looking good for survival. Fingers crossed Aluko's injury isn't too bad.

With the free-kick I don't think Elmohammady's positioning helped one bit.

Personally, I think the free kick was unstoppable. Sometimes you just have to accept, sometimes you can't stop it from going in.
