Philip Buckingham ‏@PJBuckingham 4m End of era at #hcafc quietly passed this week. Wednesday was Neil Mann's last at the club after 20 years of service. Shame to see such a legend at the club leave. Good luck in Oz Manny!
Hopefully we manage to get someone in who can help pushing the youth set up forward and achieving academy status.
Philip Buckingham ‏@PJBuckingham 17m He's off to Australia with his family to coach out there. Been for a pint with him over lunch & feature to follow next wk. Good luck, Manny.
i was lucky enough to be coached by Manny at city, great guy gets on with everybody and new every kid by name and is a huge character! Shame it's him leaving and not the utter **** that is Billy Russell. Big loss for city in my eyes.
One of the catchiest terrace chants 'Neil Mann, Mann, Mann, Mann' Repeat. Legend - Best of luck Manny.

Best of Luck Manny and thanks for the memories. Nobody can blame him for leaving for a better life can they now. All the best.
Manny is a really nice bloke, when the Kempton Shield was first muted he was one of the first to put his name down for it. Good luck with your new life Manny.
Didn't see much of Neil even though he didn't leave until 3 years after I started watching City. Good luck Manny.
And another(an eleven goal thriller)...
I read that tweet and saw the words 'quietly passed' and immediatley was a bit sick in my mouth. Good luck Manny, top bloke and a great servant to the club, hope he enjoys whatever it is he's going on to!
That chip immediately sprung to mind when I started reading this thread. If I recall correctly, he initially joined us as a part time player: as did Richard Peacock and Chris Lee. Back in the days when we sniffed around rejects from the Cod Heads.
Hopefully he will go too. Getting rid of all the mediocrity that has surrounded this club for far too long.
Agree completely. My time at Centre of Excellence (when it was in the **** hole of a sports hall at Fer Ark) was absolute ****e. He couldn't coach a dog to **** on the ground, never mind kids how to play the game. Complete tit
Linton Brown- gone Neil Mann- gone Let's raise our glasses to a brave new tomorrow of proper Premiership quality coaches rather than cheapo lower league 'jobs for the boys' 1990s ex larkers. (Fingers crossed)
Linton Brown was commercial manager. If Manny was so bad at his job why was he kept on by every manager and chairman since Peter Taylor and Adam Pearson employed him?
