@SkyBetChamp: Lively match so far at the Reebok but only one clear-cut chance, which @OfficialBWFC's Jermaine Beckford failed to finish. #Championship

Somethings never change

Wow some team Tottenham are putting together. Gareth Bale is set to sign for Real Madrid but now Spurs are on the verge of signing Erik Lamela and there in talks with Ajax about signing Christian Eriksen

Could Spurs win the League?

1 Thing I think they have got massively wrong though is selling Steven Caulker to Cardiff

Was Bale worth selling for Lamela, Eriksen, Soldado and Paulinho?

You bet.

Lloris
Walker Vertonghen Dawson Rose
Dembele Paulinho
Lamela Eriksen Chadli
Soldado

That's one hell of a side. Easily capable of top 4, if not top 2.

For me Spurs are crying out for a centre half. Vertonghen is quality but they only have Kaboul and Dawson after selling Caulker. If they get a centre half and maybe even a left back I think they could well mount a realistic challenge for the title

Chelsea are on the verge of signing Ex Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o

So thats the Wayne Rooney saga put to bed for now.

As soon as Spurs complete the signings of Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela they will let Gareth Bale complete his move to Real Madrid

Perhaps they'll outbid forest for Morgan !!!

I rate assou-ekotto but not Rose, though i realise others see it the other way round.

But no, i dont believe that team can challenge.

Are Tottenham spending the Bale money already or are they spending money to try and convice Bale to stay?

Food for thought

I think a deal was agreed ages ago and Tottenham have been spending the money they'd get for him obviously knowing that they will be receiving £80M+. They're signing players getting ready for life without Bale. Interesting to see how they do this year Spurs.

Shef Utds new investor is called Saudi Arabian Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud

Dont they normally take a photo with their name on a back of a shirt? Good luck with that one in the club shop

Hull, allegedly, tabled a bid for Shane Long on Monday that they couldn't afford.

I can see points docked if this is true. Hope it isn't, lets not bring the game into more disrepute!

They wont get points deduction for it. No chance of that happening

West Brom will just be very reluctant to do business with them in future. Hull isnt managed very well at all at the top

There's more chance of Nigel Pearson saying something interesting in an interview than there is of us getting a points deduction, sounds to me like someone's still bitter about telling us we wouldn't make the top 6 when we ended up getting promoted. <laugh>

Bad luck at the weekend, you shouldn't have got rid of Kermorgant, how many game's has he won for them against you now? Swear I've made money on him scoring against you about 3 times now.
