The Portuguese man o' war (Physalia physalis), also known as the Portuguese man-of-war, Man-Of-War, or bluebottle, though often mistaken as a jellyfish, is a marine cnidarian of the family Physaliidae. Its venomous tentacles can deliver a painful sting. (we certainly got one of those from Bosingwa - he probably needed one to smarten himself up!) I remember as a kid being scared ****less of swimming into one these whilst on holidays at Hope Cove, Devon. please log in to view this image
Never really rated him, played well for the 'ammers the season they went up. worth a punt in my opinion
Did as much in West Ham's promotion season as Taarabt did in ours. I agree that if you're talking Premier League standards then yes, him and Taarabt are probably out of their league. But you must remember, we're in the Championsh*t now and at that level, he'd be a good signing.
Redknapp has acknowledged we need a new striker, my gut tells me he favours a loan move for a youngster which I wouldn't argue with, but we could do a hell of a lot worse than Vaz Te who's realistically attainable. His pace on the counter would give us a lot more options
About 2 years ago on the old bbc site i suggested him as he was on the F.A.'s list of free agents and was roundly shouted down by several folk, but yes i would still have a punt on him but not for stupid money !!!!!
