Reckon he'll have the choice, like so many, of joining a prem side with a season of angst and struggle ahead, or joining a championship team likely to be challenging at the top.

palace will definitely put a bid in. Poor old Ollie needs some players fast.

Dont want him, apart from one spell at Barnsley, hes been awful.

2003–2010 Bolton Wanderers 58 (3)
2007 → Hull City (loan) 6 (0)
2010 Panionios 8 (1)
2011 Hibernian 10 (1)
2011–2012 Barnsley 22 (10)
2012–West Ham United 40 (13)

He does indeed. Methinks they may resemble a good impression of us on deadline day!

Some up here think he is Forest bound - not sure they need another striker with the 8 they already have though.

We do clearly need another one (at least) but he wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. Bit moody and not out and out prolific.

Billy Sharp plus and experienced striker for me would be a chance worth taking - surprised no one mentioned him before. He has the right attitude but perhaps doesn't fancy a move down South.

Think he's more of an attacking midfielder /striker. Not out and out goal scorer. Would probably improve us, but would only take him as a loan deal. I think he's one of those unfortunate players that seem to be better than championship but not quite a premiership player. If that makes sense.

I think one of the reasons he wants to leave West Ham is because they won't play him up front. He joined them in January 2012 and scored 10 goals in 15 games for them as a centre forward. I think his pace would be a real boost to us upfront.

Would provide us with additional striker options, which we need, and hopefully a few goals. Certainly no fat on him - skin & bones.

I mentioned Billy Sharp some months ago. Think he would be a good addition. Vaz Te is a good championship player, scores goals.
