I agree with your first paragraph Tony but not your second, but if you have had the raw meat others have had on here tonight, I agree with both.

Meh whatever floats your boat, but it may be worth considering that you're part of the problem and these 'big men' are a figment of your imagination.

We've got a poster called Big Gun Mackem mate. States he 'breaks people in half' for a living and regarding his girlfriend he 'smashes her back doors in'.

    We've got one 'Big Man'!!!

    Best point of the tread.

People think we have moved on but in reality nobody really knows if we have or not. We no longer have 3 of only a handful of quality players we had at the club last season. Lets hope to **** these newbies turn out to be the real deal as hope is frankly all we have at the moment.

Di canios dictatorship could be about to crumble around him

Nah, there's a few people, on here, who see themselves as 'respected senior members who deserve the respect of everyone' for no good reason.

Everyone's opinion is valid and shouldn't be shouted down by 'the chosen few'.

BTW, nowt on here 'floats my boat', it's a tiny chat forum for a few Sunderland supporters, not an address to the nation.

    I love now this

    Johnson....cabral....Vaughan...giaccherini

    ........fletcher............Altidore.............

Is met with "442 is outdated" and "you haven't got a clue". Yet this

    Johnson......cabral.......Vaughan......giaccherini
    .....................Altidore...................
    ....................fletcher....................

Results in the kids going wild and thinking they're the next Ferguson. Makes me laugh.

Has to be a full on 4 4 2 for me. Neither fletcher or altidore have the nous to play behibd the front man. Altidore is a target man and a bit of a battering ram whereas fletcher is a fox in the box character. Dont think either are capable of linking play between the midfield and forwards.

TBH mate, I haven't taken the time or trouble to identify them .... it's just a pervasive atmosphere on here.
I promise to 'name and shame' when I'm sure of what I'm saying.

I never make claims without proof ...... something that some, on here, seem to have no problems with.

They're both substandard anyway. A flat line of 4 across the midfield with a flat back 4 Is just asking for top class players to exploit the gaps, esp with a 5 man midfield. There's a reason most teams protect their back 4 with a DM
