Grayson signed Brown on a one year contract. Colin then gave him a new contract after taking over from Grayson, that included the clause in question.
Bates went because bates wanted to.if you have proof lust forced him out or even introduced gfh to him then let's have it.
They provided a unified front, and provided information that we otherwise wouldn't have had access to, or at least not so easily. That acted as a catalyst towards people seeing what bates really was. Dislike LUST all you want, they played a big part in getting bates out. Even if it was just providing an adversary for him to piss and moan about and expose his true personality.
They represent their members, the ones who actually go out of their way to make their views on club matters known to the trust. It is unreasonable to expect them to represent the views of all Leeds fans without knowing the views of all Leeds fans because fans like you are too busy pissing and moaning and grumbling to actually GET IN TOUCH and MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.
He had enough adversaries already. You all claim lust forced his hand, prove it, and stop willy waving.
I visited Elland Road in 2008. Some time before that I emailed Ray Fell and another Supporters Club officer. Got no reply. On match day, I went over to their table in front of The Peacock pub to say hello. They barely gave me the time of day. Not a positive experience. I did not feel like they represented the club or its fans well.
The view of this Leeds fan is they should disband. Do you think they will if I e mail? Don't talk such idealistic bollocks.
I dislike Justin Bieber can I email him and tell him to top himself? What!? No...the Cnut. Also you still haven't proved Gary Cooper was lying in that blog/article I provided the link for.
David Haighs statement where he absolutely denied lust were involved. Prove to me he lied. I can't be arsed to provide a link. Jfgi
I am done for today. We might disagree about lust and how bates fell, we might disagree about global warming but we can agree that Leeds. United is more important. Mot
bates went because owning Leeds United wasn't financially viable, he got scared and bailed. He'd never admit that because he's too stubborn but he couldn't afford to keep it running the way he was doing, skimming off the top. I'm fully convinced he bought it because he thought he could use club money to pay for a lifestyle he couldn't afford and make himself feel like a big shot, get praised by hundreds of thousands of people for doing them all a favour by "saving" us, and the fans would continue to show up regardless because that's what football fans do, mindlessly and unconditionally support their club no matter the cost. He was wrong and when it started to go wrong he fled. Part of making his position untenable was organised protesting and actively staying away from matches. If those thousands of stay away fans hadn't stayed away, then the club would have had enough money to carry on doing what it was doing and bates would still be in charge. It's as simple as that. But hey, I lost all respect for you when you said "global warming isn't a man made problem" - I am of course paraphrasing. You're just thick and narrow minded. I'd have you down as a conservative in at least your 40s. Most likely in your 50s or 60s.
Global warming is not a cyclical event. The CO2 level in the atmosphere has increased from 2% to 3% in the last 200 years. Are you going to tell me that's not caused by man? It's just a coincidence that the increase started around the same time as the industrial revolution, when machines were invented that produced large amounts of carbon dioxide as waste... Venus is so hot because of the amount of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere (96.5%) causing a greenhouse effect, trapping heat in once it enters the atmosphere. I don't blame you though, you're too dumb to understand REAL science.
His behaviour in this thread proves what is wrong with the Daily Mail. Anybody who genuinely thinks global warming isn't a problem should be shot, because they will generally refuse to do anything about it. When we start getting hurricanes and tidal waves in the UK, you'll know who to blame. Oh and their usual argument "but it's always raining and cold in summer and snowing in winter and blah blah blah" - too thick to understand that global warming causes more erratic weather patterns rather than just a straight up increase in temperature.
