    Point being that there is a lot more chance Jose was a first choice given his amazing career than a guy who's won nothing of note. Common sense really.

    We prefer to look to the future. You obviously haven't heard of potential. It is what he can do in the future that you get. <ok>

    With the same argument, you would not have bought Ronaldo at 19 years old (who was not playing well and had no record), you would have preferred Eto at 32 because of his record... :)
