Knowing us, the surprise will be that we're selling Santi Cazorla to Spurs.
Any reason we should believe him or Dixon or anyone else over the journalists? Just because they once played for the club doesn't mean they have inside knowledge.
If Brady and Dixon know something then so would 95% of the worlds footballing media and there are no new strong rumours.
All I've heard today is that Ozil, Di Maria and Benzema don't want to leave Madrid, we know about Cabaye and Flamini, the only rabbit I can see AW pulling out of his hat is Rooney but it would make no sense for Utd to sell especially to us.
But, I'm giving AW and the club the benefit of the doubt until next Tuesday....

Being this is a transfer rumours thread I'm just posting about someone talking about a rumour.
Being that Brady was an employee of the club until the summer I would expect him to have more contacts. In the club than a journalist.

This is just ****ing pathetic. We had all this time to do something, and we are going to leave it to the last few days to actually get some decent players. No doubt one of the dickheads at the club will come out and say that our entire focus is now on the derby and therefore we won't do any business before that. Utter, utter ****s.
There was no Euro's or World cup as well. So they can't use that excuse or the excuse about us putting all our efforts into trying to keep our best players like we tried to do with RVP,Cesc and Nasri in past windows. There is just no excuses for them, and if nothing happens, then they simply can't remain in their jobs.

The blame lies squarely with one man, the problem is that clueless people and foreign plastics still back that man. The sooner this man retires, the sooner we can focus on becoming a powerhouse again.
It just beggars belief. This summer has been an utter shambles. We have been the laughing stock of English football, and every day I think to myself, 'surely we will sign someone', but no, nothing. Now I even regret wanting Gervinho sold, because at the time, I thought they would sign a replacement, but did they ****.
Don't you think calling us the laughing stock of English football is being a touch melodramatic ?

No. Read back Gazidis quotes and thee start of this window, and then what followed it after has made us a massive laughing stock. From the shambles, that was the Suarez saga to leaving our squad thread bear despite the huge boasts from the guys at the top. When you think about what Gazidis said, and when you look at the state squad, it's just beggars belief.
Now that is what I call being melodramatic.
