Doubt it very much. It all started off by the moronic "we have £70m to spend" comment. It gave everyone hope and expectation, so if this goes pear shaped, the stupid management have themselves to blame. They should have kept quiet!

I'm sure a few cynical posters have already suggested that drumming up excitement early on was just a ploy to get people to renew their season tickets. They look like they're being proved right.

With all the moves Spurs are making, Wenger and the board don't have a leg to stand on for their inaction, or if they fail to make big signings, I seriously don't want to hear that ****ing annoying line from Wenger "buy who"?

What the ****, is there a rule in the book that says you have to make all your signings on the last day of the transfer window? We needed signings before the season started, needed them more so after we lost to Villa and got hit with injuries, and we still need them now, but no, still nothing gets done. Our squad is so ****ing thin for the derby game on Sunday that it's a joke, we won't have anyone to come on as a sub to change the game, what major club puts themselves in such a position? The incompetence at this club is staggering, the fact they put themselves in this position shows what a bunch of dicks they are.

I think a lot more are thinking it but not saying it. I can't bump into an Arsenal fan at work without them looking pissed off about whats happening. These aren't even your new age supporters, your proper old school hardcore ones with season tickets going back years and years.

"if we find top top top top top quality we will buy"
"if we find a player better than what we have we will buy"
Wenger quote after Villa game on why money hasn't been spent…
"I can return your question. Could we have won the game with the players that were on the pitch today? That's for me the real question. And I say yes. After that, if we do not spend the money, it's because we do not find the players. I'm not the only one to work on that. We are a team who work on that. We are ready to buy the players if we find that the players are good enough for us. That's all we can tell you."

On a serious point, are we even linked to any top players at the moment, not some random journo making some stuff up. You know like some strong rumours or something?

I find the volume control helps.

How sad .....

Arsenal have gone backwards then .....its official.

I heard that Arsene had a very special dog once .
It was a great dog and when it died he buried it in the garden .

He bought a new dog but it just wasnt very good.

So he had a great idea ...

Dig up the old dog from the garden , all will be good again , just like it was before.

smashing news.

Fair play he's a very versatile player. He can provide cover in a few positions but I hope he's not our only signing

yeah hes real quality , just what we need , why did we sell him again ?

talk about not seeing the wood for the trees , this is like the twilight zone .......:cheesy:

god help us , if THIS is " ze qualitee " that we have been relying on signing .
