That`s what he said to spurs, maybe he is hoping United come in with an offer, Champions league and a better chance of starting games than with Chelsea.
I was replying to the comment that 'he can score a goal too' - technically correct but the implication is that he's a midfielder who scores lots of goals (someone like Lampard etc. or Van der Vaart when he was at Spurs). Willian deals in assists - gets 15+ most seasons. So if you have a potent striker on the end of his crosses then he's justifying his fee - rather than signing him for his goals directly.
1.Phil Edwards Sky ‏@philedwardssky 23 Aug Have spoken to #willian in his London hotel. He claims he's still deciding which club to join. Agent also here. from Westminster, London Tweeted yesterday.
Let spurs have him. As long as he doesn't sign for one of our rivals like city or united we should not care
http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3436444/title/terms-agreed-for-willian Great signing, IMO. Looks as though Moses's days are numbered though. Shame as he had a great pre-season but a loan will do him the world of good. I'd imagine Marin to Sevilla will be permenant too.
Didn't mean he scores lots of goals just that he has goals in him. If I was talking about Lamps then I would have said goalscoring midfielder. See your point though.

Twitter was on point for transfers 18 months - 2 years ago but since it's become more popular it's become filled with trolls, ITK's and what not.
Willian has signed. 5 year deal and will wear 22. Hopefully we'll get to see him in our next league fixture.
Apparently odds on Mata to Arsenal have dropped down to 2:1. On it's own, means nothing - just some large money lumped on. As long as it's not Stan Kroenke putting the bet on, we should be ok. Joking aside, whilst any team would want Mata in it (apart from us at the moment it seems), he's not really the player they need. Surely they are after a more "steely" type?
To get punters to lay heavy on a deal that will never happen. More profits = everybody is a winner bar the mug who bets on it.
I wouldn't. If Lamela came then there'd be no place for Mata in the side. I still think Oscar/De Bruyne can be dropped deeper and there's a place for all of all three of Willian, Hazard and Mata in the side, what then happens to MVG I'm unsure.
