Is there an option to just purchase it for the day? City are on there on saturday and I don't fancy subscribing.

I think it's a minimum term contract (but not certain on that)

You need a box from them, or a Sky box to get it at all, so I suspect you'd need a minimum contract, as the box comes free with it.

  4. Wasn't there a sports channel introduced about four months ago that was pay-per-view? Cost £10 for 24hrs I think???

    Online though I think...?

Already got a sky box, it says a minimum 1 month contract, that may be my only option.

Yeah £15 a month. Still cheaper than going!

If I had nieces over, they'd be going to the pub.

Having been reminded by this thread, that I never got round to sorting BT Sport, I've just done it now, so thanks for that.

Sorted SkyGo at the same time and have SSN on the laptop, I might not get any work done at all now.

Taking a 2 year old and a 6 month old to the pub is my idea of hell. I may buy it on the sky go, then cancel it straight away!

Actually if you're with Virgin on a Premium package you get the BTS channels as well.

That's why I'm more than happy to give those greedy twats at Eastlands the bird for wanting to charge me £25 for my 10 year old!

I don't know what's worse, £25 for your 10 year old, or £41 for my 17 year old.

Both a disgrace. So much for Manchester City being a community Club!

Surely your daughter is older than 17?!?!?

Might actually try and get tickets for the Newcastle game as they are being very reasonable: £27 Adults - £22 Seniors & Students - £13 Under 16s - £13 Disabled Supporters

My daughter is, but I didn't need to buy a ticket for her, she's a catering manager at the Etihad, it's my son who's 17.

I suppose on the plus side, we are getting free pies once we get there.
