I don't get this, what's thick about what I said? Please enlighten me. I pointed out the poster was wrong, please tell me why is it not?

Edit - I just double checked in case and yep, it's wrong. I can't wait to hear why I'm a "thick twat".

There really are some small-minded individuals on here, you are a bloody disgrace to the city. Good luck to Hull FC.

Will you be going on the FC forum to tell the morons on there who hope for to City to fail and those who support football clubs from other cities that they are a bloody disgrace to the city? If not then shut up.

    Good luck to Hull FC.

I don't support a rugby league team, but I support the city of Hull, so I hope we get a win at Wembley.

Just because some FC fans are ****ers, doesn't mean we need to be.

Well said that man, I really dislike a lot of (not all) FC fans, I also dont go to watch FC now, but I hope they win today. Some of their fans are ****ers but they are Hull ****ers. Like OLM I also support the City of Hull.

I don't really do rugby but prefer rovers cos Im from east hull and rest of family do. So would like fc to draw then win the reply. That way its good for the city and fc still won't have won at wembley

I'm not into hating other Hull teams, but maybe it was karma for the way SOME FC fans wished City to fail against Cardiff.

Mine's bigger than yours....FFS Asbo grow up. Who really gives a **** about the size of the crowd. I've been to US college American football games with bigger crowds than our regular or average attendance. Ours is a world game and NFL isn't. Does that make it a better game? Clearly not IN OUR view. It's all relative. Schoolyard stuff....get over it.

    I do.

    Plenty of other people do.

Some of us exist on a world where local intercode pissing contests are a feature of daily life.

What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

    Nowt.

Lindop, and 'You'll never win at Wembley' are far funnier.

These people need reminding of their club's position in the global and local sporting hierarchy.

It's a dirty job at times. but someone has to do it......

    Casual

I do the Wembley RL final weekend every year and have done since 1977. It's a lads drinking weekend that happens to have a game in the middle of it. I first went to city in 1964 and was there during the tough times and I also followed HKR as I grew up and until I moved away from the city. I've no time for Dull FC, as I prefer football and RU these days, however, when the lads went 1-0 up, a cheer went up amongst the Dull FC fans or at least those around us. Don't tar everyone with the same brush. Not all fans think that way. I think OLM called it right in an earlier post.

Who are 'the plenty of other people'? Can you qualify or even quantify that??

Why would I when I don't use the board? The observation travels to any small-minded, petty individuals. Pull down your lid and revel in your bitterness.

    'people I know'

    'anecdotal evidence'

'a number of people on different occasions over many years, all unknown to each other'

I haven't jotted down the dates, places and quantity of people involved but they are substantial and frequent enough to impinge on my consciousness.

(This is getting like this name change **** where 'only 20 emails against' and 'only 40 people on the protest match' are trotted out like valid and realistic statistical data)
