This is spot on! Jose must give great reasoning for his team requirements but I reckon the "board" have the final say!
Well, the BBC were right, and also seems RA DID get involved. Jose has again scuttled talk of Mata leaving, so I guess we can look at someone like Moses and/or Ba/Torres being sold. This might mean Schurrle being used as an outright striker. Also think this might be Franks last season, so maybe there's a bit of the future involved as well. Still think there is another suprise to come involving a striker, and I can't see both Torres AND Ba being here much longer. If Jose goes 4-1-2-3 as suggested, then the strikers roll becomes a different kettle of poissons. Always interesting when Jose is around.
Great... Us Mags desperately beg a god we don't believe in anymore (clearly one doesn't exist if Joe Kinnear can come back) for some sort of winger or attacking midfielder, and it turns out you twats are stockpiling them. It'll make the next football manager game interesting, because only going as Chelsea will enable you to use the AM slots in the tactics screen Is Roman autistic or something?
Have you looked at our squad before making that comment? Since 2010 we've had one of the smallest squads in the Premier League. Chelsea, City and United need bigger squads than the other teams.
Stop being so precious DL, I was taking the piss But seriously, you definitely don't need the billion AMs you've got. I can only assume it's some evil plan to prevent anyone else using one against you. You're squad is still short in a few areas, and yet you relentlessly sign AMs. Guess we know what kind of player RA likes.
If Moses is going then we need a replacement, Willian is probably that guy and a definite upgrade especially as he can play in a variety of positions, either central or out wide. Assuming Moses is gone, other than Schurrle and Hazard, we have no other players capable of playing out wide aptly. Schurrle has had his injury problems already. What happens is Hazard then gets injured? It's Oscar or Mata out wide where they are both ineffective.
If it were me I'd want to know why both David Villa and Willian were both shown around the training ground and not signed up. Nothing to do with Mourinho and everything to do with Levy and his usual incompetence.
Common sense will fail in cases of rejection for a better rival though. HAIG is showing his true colours on that thread again though, awful wum.
Had Levy just bought AVB a striker last season they'd be top 4 and have far more leverage in the transfer market. Spurs are an attractive proposition for a player to join, but even moreso with CL football. Like I said to my mate yesterday, Two Good performances in the CL will get you more recognition than 15 world class performances in the Europa League. It's a World Cup year. Willian wants to be in the team, right now Chelsea are bigger platform and in a better position to win major honours which is what Willian will need if he's to force his way into the Brazil set up. P.S Agree re: HIAG but to be fair he's banned from just about evey board now.
Have you seen his stats? He's not an out and out goalscorer...he hasn't ever gotten into double figures in a single season throughout his career.
This could go against you (i notice he hasn`t signed yet), he had a medical with the spuds but continued to think over his options, is he doing the same with you?
The rumour is that he's still deciding (according to some tweets from someone at Sky). He'll go to Chelsea though. He went to AM for money despite having options to move to England and he'll do the same in this situation.
