I think it looks GREAT!!! .... if you are one of the saps in our media department. Those new white seats are not plastic, the media team have for the past week been ****ing furiously over them.
Can't remember. Just seen someone say we should spend money on wifi at the stadium instead, because that's feasible.
Will not be surprised if as time goes on, much like Hull, that "Saints" will be pushed forward ahead of Southampton in the club's marketing and correspondance.
Good point, only time I've ever got a 3G signal at St Mary's is by standing in the front row when the ground is half empty... and even then its very weak. So the club want to promote something that you can't actually communicate at the place they are promoting it (unless you pay £200-£500 for a corporate seat, who get free wi-fi, wow)
The Saints FC hash tag is a useful tool for fans to communicate on a social networking platform but if you are a Southampton fan using Twitter regularly then you will be fully aware of the hash tag already. The new seats will not drive many (if any) new fans to Twitter and the SaintsFC hashtag so it really does serve no purpose; it's about as sensible as emblazoning my personal Twitter handle across my clothing. All of this can be ignored easily come match day, what with fans blocking the cringeworthy effort, but what annoys me about the situation is why didn't they just write SAINTS FC if they are going to replace seats. Much less tacky in my opinion. Oh well, at least I've got a fresh seat for my season ticket this season
Just been on twitter...one person (presumably Roma fan) has informed Dani (in case he's forgotten) that he was **** in Rome and remains ****.
Surprisingly feasible actually, Liverpool and Man City are among two clubs that spring to mind who already have plans to implement the technology at their stadiums. Here's the source for those interested ... http://thenextweb.com/uk/2013/05/08...h-live-video-stats-streamed-direct-to-mobile/
Eurgh this looks like one of those ****ty facebook meme things. "It looks tacky they said........ It took lots of work they never said.... 100 likes = 1 #respect"
The thing about Twitter that I don't understand (make that one of the things....) is that when the number of people looking at the tweets goes up everyone bangs on about how successful it is. Does this mean that Saints get money if someone tweets? If not the .....what!?
No, they get no money, but Jordan Sibley lets out a bit of wee everytime the club gets a new follower. Interestingly, Le Tissier has more followers (last time I checked) than Southampton FC do.
Yeah but that doesn't really mean anything; he's a Sky TV pundit isn't he, appeals to fans of other clubs as well.
