Not in 2014. 2018 though.... they could (not saying they will) be one of the best teams in the world.
As Mourinho apparently said to Lambert after the final whistle. He's done that a few times now - openly praised the opposition team when his side have won. Of course, the points don't change.
Ha, well I put a pound on at 20/1, same odds as England and considerably more likely I'd imagine.
Somewhen, in the last few days, I've read of Newcastle bloggers exclaiming... surely we can compete with clubs the likes of Southampton FC..[?] after Alan Pardew had actually confessed that they couldn't, and he meant specifically Saints, not West Ham, Fulham, Norwich, etc.., ie the likes of. That was accurate...more than many articles which deny our past and act as if we were always a lower league club. Didn't know about Tiss and his consortium paying wages though.

Interesting in the first article his saying that one of the things he most enjoyed was the lack of a superstar, a 'Balotelli type'......well that's changed now!
Why is Jose Fonte talking to the media this morning..? Is it simply that Saints are doing their pre-match news conference at a much earlier time after all..?
Why does that affect it....is Fonte the only early riser? Or perhaps they held it early at short notice before JWP could get a whiff of the microphone
