He did the tidy up between 4pm and 5pm yesterday (not sure exactly when as I was offline).

With the way this board has been today, I actually contemplated stepping down earlier

I hope all the slagging off is light hearted. I've never had an issue with Gerrez, so I know all my name calling has always been banter, but I admit that so much can be lost with the written word, and some of the posts here today have been a bit "ouch" and I hope that was down to poor conveyance of humour, rather that serious **** towards someone who has the good grace to do more than just spout **** here... like me.

So lets be nice to our mods, just not that yank **** who has caused all this to kick off, and is now too **** scared to face the music <whistle>

hug for Gerrez <hug>

Sounds interesting, you must be up to your eyes in it though, now I know why I haven't spoke to you in a while.

When grant writing and reporting comes around, **** gets serious. We also have some new hires who are lost on it all and so am also having to help them which can be frustrating at times. The coaching though isn't work as it really isn't a job for me, I love it, so it is almost more of a release. it can just be draining being in the sun!

Also got word recently that a coach here knows one of the conductors in the UEFA B course in NI and next year there is a possibility we could get in. That would be awesome if that could happen as that would open a lot of Full-time, really good money, doors in the coaching world. <ok>

You may have no bollox but I have no spine, thought you knew that? <doh>

The slagging off wasn't aimed at me, it was aimed at said yank <laugh>

The infighting was about the off topic stuff overpowering to football threads etc. Some like the site because of the constant bullshit that flows throughout, others want to keep it separate. My stance is, if people want it separating then it requires someone to sit and read each threads deleting off topic and inappropriate comments to make it more like original 606; if that's the case then I'm not the person to do it. Not sure i would even stick to the site if we took that approach.

Would you want to drop the other thing you do to do coaching full time? Sounds like you enjoy it a lot so surely it'll be tempting? Especially if the money's good. <ok>

In a heartbeat mate. It is rewarding the day job but if I can get to where coaching can cover both the salaries ( or there abouts and I can do some personal training stuff) then yes mate, Coaching in a flash!

You can't just talk about football like that, all the time. If you want to foster a community spirit, you have to accommodate more than the core subject.
