I promised to close it come 3 September. I am sticking to that promise unless it becomes a problem thread (can't see that happening now) but I did unsticky it so that if it doesn't create interest then it will sink on its own accord

Agreed. I voted to keep that one open because I feel it's an ongoing issue still.
Which is why I don't mind threads which are dedicated to nonsense because we don't have to read them.

That's fair enough mate, I ain't gonna tell you what to do, just gets boring reading all **** that goes on in there.nit seems to be sinking anyway.
Thing is that's what the pub thread is for and the majority of posters do use it but then other OT threads are made when there really is no need for it, just post it in the pub thread
It's all gone quiet on the EvilSuarez front. If something happens though it's bound to kick off again. He'll only need to fart in company and the papers, and the wums, will be outraged yet again.

Only problem with the pub thread is it loads up dodgy on the phone, as do the match threads. No idea why these come up differently though

Nothing wrong with a few nonsense threads as Saint says don't get involved if you don't like them, it was also the right thing to do by having a little clean up today as it was looking a bit crap with too many silly threads.
I think there's a good balance on here of footy and general banter, the ones who complain need to post more footy threads if they want more footy chat.
The OT threads tend to appear when it's quiet.

I think this is where I fall down as a mod, I like the silly threads but I am also able to to work my way through them to find the serious stuff.
As i keep saying though guys, feel free to PM me if you have an issue or see something you think is out of order and I'll see what I can do

There's no problem the board is fine as it is, you may get the odd complaint and the board may need a clean up now and then but the vast majority of REGULAR posters are happy with how the board is run. The ones that complain need to realise that they shouldn't turn up now and then and moan, they are free to post threads but seldom do so and there is the answer to their problem.
