I'd go back with a thirty million bid for Bender, top quality right where we need it.

SSN are claiming that Newcastle have rejected a £10m bid from you for Yohan Kebab.

If you end up paying 20m for Cabaye in my opinion you'd be a lot better off paying the few extra million it would cost and getting Fellaini instead.

Whilst for us Cabaye is a great player, you have two better players (Wilshere & Cazorla) in his position. Fellaini offers something completely different to all three.

Kinnear has said that Arsenal's bid of £10m is an insult to his inteligence..........£7m and he'd consider it.

The problem is, the whole of Europe knows we need players and will milk us for every last cent. What a shambles this window has been.

And as we know, Wenger has his set valuation for every player, and is very reluctant to go above that. We are almost at a dead-end here.

Sounds exactly what Arsenal need, another small, slight player in CM, NOT!

We're going to get robbed no matter what. The "competent" handling of the transfer window has made sure of that.

Only hope is that we at least get robbed on players that improve the squad, and are not 100% panic buys by the club trying to avoid a more severe reaction by the fans.

It's bloody ridiculous. Cabaye is worth around 15 million and I don't expect Newcastle to accept anything below that. So it's just another stupidly low bid from our lunatic manager. I wonder if he ever expects these bids to be accepted? Maybe he just wants to claim he tried. If we have 100 million in the bank, and Wenger wants a player worth 15 million, ****ing pay what he's worth!

Can't see Spurs fan Mike Ashley letting any players go to you for anything less than way over the odds.

You have told the world you have funds (why???)
Everyone knows you need players because you now have a thin squad
You only wanted players better than what you have, so suddenly now Cabaye is better than Wilshire, Cazorla and Ramsey but only worth 10m.....hmmmm Logical

You could look at it two ways.If the bid is rejected for being too low it means the player could be available at the right price. It could well be a case of Wenger testing the water. On the other hand if Newcastle say Cabaye is not available at any price then that's a different matter

All of our players our available at the right price, Pardew advertises this on a near weekly basis.

Only last week he said "Losing Cabaye would be a blow, but we're vulnerable to bigger clubs. However it would take a bid that really blows the doors off to get him" and that's pretty much word for word. However IMO he's talking about a price of around 25m and firstly Cabaye isn't worth that and secondly Arsenal are not the sort of club to pay 10m more than a player is worth.

Personally i'd rather we don't panic buy and get any old players to fill in our squad gaps. What's the point, to appease the fans? You think we'll be happy bringing in bloody Cabaye after that dumbass Gazidis mouthed off about our riches and how we're going to buy some big players? How on earth will Cabaye improve our first team? This is what happens when you piss around in the transfer market. Damn buffoons.

If Arsenal really want to buy but the opening bid is £10m and Newcastle are willing to sell him but for £25m,there is no doubt a fee would be agreed between the two figures
