Well we don't do well againsy Moyes, and the trend continues, but we could help ourselves by creating better chances in the final third, our passing was sloppy, and lacked any cutting edge today, which gave the Manu back 4 an easy time, oh well another rusty start to another Manchester side!.................
Well of course they create spaces, it's in their nature to lose defenders, but how easy was it for him, just check last season's games where we had him closed down!.................
Just got back...... It's Man Utd not West Ham Utd for pity's snake I'll let you all in in a secret. They're a bigger club with better better players and scored 3 world class goals today. We gave them a good game and they know it too. We will be fine. We've only got to play the best team once more unlike everyone else. Had we played a standard premier league team today we would have won, but we were playing the champions unfortunately and they showed why they are champions. Calm down, keep the faith we will be fine
Well I'm sorry to upset a few on here, but I didn't think Manu played that well at all, and had we got at them, instead of passing the ball like a hot potato, then maybe the result would have been different!.................
Agree we could have shot more when we had the chance and don't forget both Michu and Bony went very close with headers , it's a case of snakes and roundabouts I'm afraid .......

The big difference between good players and great players is their concentration. 5 minutes of first half madness along with our big signing being tired after a pointless game made the huge difference. Canas was our MOM IMHO. Was worried when he got booked so early, but he seems a quick learner. Our 2nd half team was our best 11. We will play worse and win this year...just GUTTED that last goal went in!! We will be fine though If Arse offer £10 mill for Ash, I will drive him there myself KTF
He was only 25 mill as he was in his last year! The guy is awesome and worth more than Suarez in true terms.
Same here. Thought he'd be liability after that reckless tackle and that he, instead of Leon, should have been taken off but was superb second half.
Great game to watch and the only difference is united were far more technical than us, we were good going forward but united had us covered....the better team won and maybe they could have scored more. no players were at fault they all played their hearts out but were up against a much better team that was expected as the champions....Overall played well enough to beat most teams but not someone like man utd..
Spot on Dai - the way their forwards interchanged was a joy to watch at times, the difference was they took their chances and we didn't - that's why they are champions and we are not! We had six shots on target - they had seven - we were creating the chances but not putting them away, but the goals will come. Two goals in a few minutes in the first half when we were dominant killed us off - United don't give up 2 goal leads. Yep, am extremely disappointed but saw enough today to be confident for the season ahead.
