****ing typical Cairney, every pass is either sideways or backwards or he's getting out of position.

Why would you play him up front when you've got David Dunn in your midfield? Surely you're better putting Cairney in midfield and giving Dunn a free role?

I can't understand for the life of me why you'd play him up front. He isn't particularly strong or mobile and you wouldn't fancy him to turn a man or win a header. Surely you'd want a player like him in the middle, getting on the ball and looking up for a pass whenever possible. He's not like a Koren type player who you can understand playing further forward, he's purely a playmaker.

Ha - David Dunn is 4 seasons past being decent.

Whenever I hear of David Dunn, this is the first thing that comes to mind:

He was still picked as part of the midfield for Blackburn against Donny. Swapping the roles of Cairney and Dunn within that starting lineup would surely have given them a better team than the one the one they ended up with.

That's brilliant. I also like the Jason Koumas one where he's about to cross it but just collapses with no one around. It's hard to tell what actually makes him fall over.
