Hello, well the 2013/14 football season is finally here and looking forward to seeing Saints in action.
But can you predict how Saints or any other club for that matter are going to do.
NEW FEATURE FROM LAST SEASON -For those of you who remember its a knockout you could play your joker to double your points in a game. Put a (J) against your most confident prediction to double your points for that prediction. This can be used for any prediction except the bonus goals. so can be used in any game prediction, goalscorer etc. You will therefore pick up 6pts for an exact score, 2pts for correct result and 6 pts goalscorer/other prediction when used.
Its just a bit of fun each week and you dont have to play each week. There will be a weekly winner and at the end of the month a league winner for the person scoring the most points in that month. For those really competitive ones and ones that can last the pace there will also be an end of season winner for the one who has accumulated the most points over the season.
The next 3 weeks will make up the August league.
As usual 6 results to predict including Saints and Pompey games, plus three other predictions for the weekend games.
Scoring
Exact correct score = 3 points
correct result (home win/away win/draw) = 1 point
3 points for each of the 2 other correct predictions.
Any goals scored in the Bonus match added to your total
Play your Joker (J) on any prediction except for bonus goals to double pts scored for that prediction.

(if for any reason the match you pick is postponed you will be awarded 1 consolation goal)
After a couple of months of league games there will be some prediction knockout cup games
-Results will be published by Monday evening. If scores are level at the end of the week there will be joint weekly winners. If at the end of the month there is a draw for the monthly title, the penalty shoot out will be who scored most points in Southampton score predictions. If still a draw there will be joint monthly winners.
