Since there seems to be a bit of bumping old threads I've bumped this.
Interesting to see how far we have come and how few of these posters still post
The Magnificent Mullery is DDD from 606, shame he is not on here.
I've only been on this forum a couple of days so it's early days, but so far I have not seen one decent debate. The set up provided by Maltese Mick is good, in many ways better than 606 but there seem to be few posters who want to put up anything more than yah boo! stuff.
We will need another forum to replace 606 and this could be it but so far I can see many of the more serious posters being put off by the lack of substantial comments.
At the moment WUMs are just bouncing off each other which is pretty boring stuff. I know we already have a couple of decent posters from 606 on here, perhaps they need to make their presence felt.

The main reason I've stayed so long the forum is due to the good debate and banter. Good job I weren't around in the beginning, chances are I would've left after a week! Though that may not have been such a bad thing for some
I think the fact that we don't allow personal abuse makes all the difference. We have a really great collection of posters on here and it has become what I hoped it would in the first place.
There are still good posters that we failed to attract from old 606 because they looked in early on when it was not so impressive, but good to see we are still getting new posters joining in. The pattern of debate is set now so we will only attract good posters because the idiots will not be able to sustain their interest.
