lawro would be good for teaching the following:- (1) how to smell of piss (2) how to keep the growth on your chin exactly between (a) clean-shaven, and (b) a beard (3) how to make tasteless comments (4) how to be an embarrassment (5) how to look pissed-off at every opportunity (6) how, if you do actually smile, to make it seem as though you are about to take the piss
What an hilarious read it is on the Gooners' "transfer" thread! Panic is in full evidence, and one can see it beginning to get very ugly very quickly if some decent business is not transacted very soon. They've got a "Suarez" thread running, too. A part of me would love it if we get to the end of the season and either Suarez remains at 'Pool, or he is forced to sign abroad (to keep him away from Whinger's clutches). I'm not normally hard on the Gooners and generally wish them well, but that thought would have me laughing my cock off (again). We'd be able to nominate that thread for the "most pointless thread on Not606" award. It would certainly get my vote.
Still seems like a lot I'm surprised they're doing this, the Beeb were using him as a main commentator just over a month ago at the Confederations Cup. The downside is this means we'll be hearing more from Keown and Dixon(unless he's only working for ITV now). Might see Matt Holland get on the TV a bit again too.
We need garth crooks on MOTD, I just need to look at him and I laugh but can't help but love the guy for the stuff he comes out with.
He winds so many other fans up, it's quality His team of the week is nearly as much of a joke as Lawro's predictions too. Had to respect him during the World Cup in SA, he was doing reports walking through streets in SA wearing a shirt underneath a v-neck knit that was about 2 sizes too small for him. A brave look and he must have been absolutely boiling.
should get rid of all the pundit's and the ****e they come out with, and show more of the football, who wants to be told what we just watched,as if we are blind!!
It seems that Millwall fans haven't taken to their new manager, ex-West Ham midfielder Steve Lomas: please log in to view this image Can't say I'm surprised.
Interesting BBC article here http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23617020 Bale scored 9 of his 21 league goals from outside the area - 3 times the number of any other forward on the list. please log in to view this image
In my view, they will have to dream on about Suarez. Even before Henry said it, I was of the opinion that, whilst Suarez may get his transfer, L'Pool will never agree to sell him to The Goons, or any other premiership side.
arsenal might be signing someone. Luiz Gustavo from Bayern for £14m. Personally i have never heard of him.
