Yeah, not going as planned this is it? Really average batting performance again with the obvious exception of Bell and maybe KP. Hopefully Bresnan can push past 50 with support.

300 - 8. The wicket is really cracking up by all accounts. Bresnan is giving it a real go. At least another 32 required, but we should make the most of this wicket with the bowlers we have.

  4. No worries, Jimmy Anderson's got to bat yet <whistle>

He can carry his bat, as can Swann.

New ball plus dicey wicket equals unhappy batsmen, it's leaping up all over the place. We should make the most of it but need a decent total to defend first!

The lead is now 282, and Swann is having a do as well as Bresnan <ok>

Bresnan's gone for 45. The end isn't far off now. It's still short of where we need to be in terms of a lead.

I'd have preferred 350 to be sure. It should be enough on that wicket, but we'll just have to wait and see. More massively exciting test match cricket. And **** you Billy <laugh>

That doesn't mean anything. It's about how they deal with the pressure.

Means nothing, Aussies only had one bowler, Harris, a decent bowling attack (Ours) will (should) be able to defend that total.
Rodgers and Clarke are key, get them cheaply and the rest will be skittled out easy enough!
