Thanks for the link :)

3 very good goals.. cant remember the last time we scored a header from a freekick. Aluko's was class although he'd never be allowed that kind of space in the prem. Boyd's goal was good too, showed great composure.

1st goal - Great well worked free kick. Great cross, beauty of a diving header.
2nd goal - Cracking finish by Aluko, but horrific marking on Betis' part.
3rd goal - Good reactions by Boyd to get the poor backpass, and showed good compusure to round the keeper, then the defender, and the tuck it in.

That second goal is some of the worse defending I have ever seen in professional football <laugh> what on earth was going on how can you leave a man unmarked in 10 yards of space inside the box.

According to the Real Betis web site. They were the better side throughout.... Chester scored the 1st goal, Sagbo got the 2nd.

I suspect that G.Lloyd was advising them or was it Lord of Culture Terry Geraghty.

Did betis play their strong squad? they finishes 7th last season

<laugh>

They appear to have mixed up better with dirtier.

They certainly showed a bit of passion in their tackling.

Long time since I've seen a set-piece screw-up on that scale. Astounding.

That's hilarious. They genuinely didn't have a serious shot (if they had one at all), got passed off the park and at one point started wiping everyone out through frustration at chasing shadows all game.

I think it was a strong side from them - the shirt numbers seemed to be largely low (and I think 14 was their captain). At least I think that they were the squad numbers, I looked up their 7, and he matched up.

yeah they were about 3/4 their strongest squad with a couple of new signings and i believe it was their last friendly before la liga starts

They are missing two of their better players from last season, Benat and Campbell and it shows- I was shocked how poor they were as I expected a really good team. They will struggle this season.
