I think manUre fans would disagree. The 99 final was easily better, because it was a clear underdog in Manure vs an awesome Munich side, not an aging Milan side full of players well over 30.

I would agree with you here, and as for the 5 times, meh teams have won it more times. Nobody has ever gone a full season un-beaten before and it may never be done again.

you are too young to have watched the 99 final live anyways

I was 8 then, i watched it then, and i've watched it again since. Technology is a wonderful thing.

Just like i've watched the 1989 Liverpool v Arsenal match, despite not being born until a year after.

I think i shall relive all of Liverpool's greatest failures throughout the years <ok>

but not United. Arsenal not once, so it means nothing then does it<laugh>

nn children, have fun being bitter together

Who the **** has been feeding arsenal fans after midnight?

And what you're about rears its head, this is all you are. An abusive little **** pretending to be a football fan<laugh>

No, more like someone who's severely pissed off at the sheer delusion facing him, yet strangely hypnotised by it at the same time.

That "aging Milan side" were clear favourites to win that night ,....and as for underdogs Utd, and Awesome Munich,....please..

It means lots to those who have won it 9 times, just like being the ONLY team to have gone un-beaten for a full season means a lot to the Gooners.

didn't that aging Milan side win the trophy two years later :huh:

Much like Liverpool are the only English side to have won five European Cups <whistle>

No English team ever has and never will though, Fergie had around 18 tries in over a quarter of a century with Utd but failed in the end and Wenger would sell his soul for just 1.

<whistle>

Strange comment, the future spreads before us, Preston may achieve this stunning accomplishment one day.

If Liverpool had gone a season undefeated, you bet your arses that we would have heard non-stop about how incredible that team was, how much they kicked arse and how you destroyed all comers, and that the entire team should be knighted, regardless of nationality.

We only bust it out as a last resort.
