Some are winners, some just take part.

participation medals are the only silverwear the gooners have seen in nearly a decade

Did they win the Emirates Cup this year? They didn't did they?!!

Still. Some sponsors were happy and an A4 sized certificate was awarded.

Do you honestly believe that?
Oh dear.

I know we're on the opposite sides of this argument. But give credit when it's due, eh.

On a serious note, yes I actually do believe that seeing as I reply directly to comments which are directed at me without going off into a tangent, and actually discussing the topic at hand.

"I didn't read [Henry's] statements but we'll be faithful to the way we want to behave.

"We are looking at possibilities to strengthen our squad. Suarez is one of the targets. If he's not for sale, he's not for sale. We have to accept that."
.

And yet they're ripping the piss out of us? A rubbish team supposedly - who still wins trophies.

Wigan won an FA Cup. Are the better than Arsenal? Nope. They ended up relegated. You don't see their fans talking down the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal, as they know their place.
They won a trophy of a far higher standing than that measly Carling Cup. <laugh> Means very little when one looks at where you finish consistently too. Honest to God, I actually feel sorry for you guys. You've convinced yourself of something, and are actually living out that dream.

They have had more success than arsenal in 8 years though. Cant deny that

Really don't know what to think. Part of me says Suarez isn't worth the trouble, and we should move on and look elsewhere, but the other part of me wants us to humiliate your arrogant owners and ex-players.

I agree that the ex-players should just shut up (including Ian Wright too <whistle>), all they're trying to do is get their name in th spotlight in order to get the next pay cheque!

As you already know, I wouldn't want Liverpool to buy Suarez if our roles were reversed. quality player but far too much **** that comes with it <ok>

Ok, serious.
I don't want to be offensive, but your tone doesn't lend itself to serious debate. All, or most of, your posts are insulting- you're not foul-mouthed, I grant you that, but insulting nonetheless. Making out that none of us know anything about football, we're deluded, Arsenal are "light years" ahead etc, etc. With that attitude you can't expect to be taken seriously so you just get some of the obtuse responses you've had so far.
Make a reasonable point, without the condescension, and I'm sure you'll get a reasonable response.

How about the Champions League? FA Cup in 2006?

Would that mean something to you? <laugh>
