Well there is a number of failures there then mate.

1. Why didn't you actually bid and begin negotiations? You could possibly have got him before Napoli swooped.

2. Why did you agree a deal with the player first? That's completely the wrong way and shows you were tapping him up presumably like Suarez.

3. Why not just pay the money and actually buy him for his revised value? You would have known that value if you were in talks and he would have cost less than Suarez.
