It is a very moving place to visit so be ready to comfort your children should it upset them. Let me know what you think about the visit and the book only takes about 2 hours to read but I have read it loads of times. It is brilliantly written.

Wish I was coming to France with you I haven't been to France for over 18 months but I am planning to take my granddaughters on a tour in the autumn of the WW1 battlefields and cemeteries associated with my family as next year it is going to be OTT WW1.

Whether or not you enjoy the book or the visit have a great time and a good holiday. I shall be cheering on Saints v Real Sociadad and thinking of you on holiday.

We let the kids read a little online about Oradour and they are up to seeing it. I also found out from my mate that he went when he was a lad and is thinking of taking his kids, so will await my feedback on how mine fund the experience.

We might need to free up some room in the budget by shifting some dead weight. Duckhunter is a bit of a disruptive character, but I think a side like KUMB might still be willing to bid for him if we transfer list him. Also we've got Jenthesaint on our books even though she rarely makes an appearance. We could perhaps loan her out to General Chat.

Doesnt matter now anyway, apparently Everton have had a bid accepted and have moved onto contract talks
